Baptism

The ordinance of baptism by immersion is commanded in the Scriptures.

All who repent and believe on Christ as Savior and Lord are to be baptized as they are physically able and have opportunity. In baptism, our names are changed. In the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, we are placed under the authority of God’s power and protection. It symbolizes Christ’s death, burial, and resurrection to a new life. Baptism is an outward sign of an inward spiritual renewal and rebirth. It symbolizes death, burial and resurrection.

Baptism generally occurs on the 2nd Sunday at Greater New Bethel at the 10AM service.
