We believe that the purpose of the church is not primarily about personal growth. We believe the purpose of the church is about God’s reputation (2 Corinthians 6:14-18). And because we hold God’s reputation in high regard, we hold the issue of church membership in high regard.
Scripture clearly indicates that God wants every Christian to become a member of a local church. Therefore, we invite you to take time to get to know our church, learn how we are fulfilling Christ’s command to make disciples, and see how we love and relate to one another in daily life.

If you are interested in becoming a member, we invite you to complete our membership process. During this time you will learn more about our church’s vision, mission, values, and about what it means to be a member of Greater New Bethel Baptist Church. Participating in this process will not obligate you to become a member. Simply submit this form and someone will reach out to you from our First Friends Ministry.

Prayed to Receive Christ:

SELECT  IF you through prayer, has repented of your sins, confessed with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and now believes in your heart that God raised Him from the dead. Baptism candidacy is their next step. This person has never joined the church previously.

Baptism Candidate:

SELECT IF you have already prayed to receive Christ and are now ready to make a response of obedience to Jesus Christ and a public testimony of your submission to His authority and lordship over every aspect of your life through a water baptism. 

Christian Experience:

SELECT IF you have already prayed to receive Christ, been baptized, but are looking for a new church home. You have not joined the church previously.

 

Rededication to Christ:

SELECT IF if you have already prayed to receive Christ, been baptized, however, strayed away from the faith. You are now ready to humble yourself, confess your sins to the Lord, and return to God with all your heart, soul, mind, and being. You have not joined the church previously.

Restored to Fellowship:

SELECT IF you have already prayed to receive Christ, been baptized, and joined TCWW previously. However, if you spent 3 or more months away from TCWW and are no longer contributing to the church, resulting in an inactive membership status. You are now ready to reactivate your membership. The same membership number applies, unless you request a new number.return to God with all your heart, soul, mind, and being. You have not joined the church previously.

Watchcare Needed:

SELECT IF the person have already prayed to receive Christ, been baptized, however, are not able to attend the physical church building due to their geographic location or physical disability. This selection includes the person in our virtual congregation. Special communication is sent to Watchcare New Member Prospects/Members to ensure inclusiveness in the activities of the church.
